ASTON VILLA LINKED WITH DOUBLE SIGNINGS

Aston Villa are reportedly interested in Club Brugge midfielder Marvelous Nakamba according to reports from England. The Villans have been one of the top spenders in the Premier League this summer spending close to £100 million on new signings.

It is understood that manager Dean Smith has turned his sights to the 25-year-old as he seeks to add more depth to the midfield. In a surprise twist, Nakamba has dropped a hint about his next destination via Instagram.

The 25-year-old recently followed Aston Villa Instagram page in what is interpreted as a hint that a move could be on. Nakamba has also refused to join Club Brugge for pre-season as he looks to force through the transfer.

The midfielder is thought to be keen on joining former teammate Wesley Moraes in making the switch to Villa Park.
Moraes made a record switch to the club last week and there are reports that he has convinced his teammate to join him at the Midlands.

It is understood that Club Brugge could be looking for a transfer fee of £20 million for the central midfielder.

Aston Villa have also been linked with a move for Southampton forward Charlie Austin as the club looks to build a squad capable of competing in the Premier League. The club are looking to bring in another forward to support Moraes.

West Ham forward Javier Hernandez has also been touted as a possible transfer target for Villa. Chicharito is believed to be weighing an exit from the club this summer as he looks for more first team opportunities.

Villa is seen as an ideal location for the Mexican but the problem could be that he would command a higher fee than Charlie Austin.

This summer continues to be a busy one for the Villans and it would be interesting to see whether the club would make a move for these players.
